My deepest condolences to the family of Ed Schneider. I knew Ed and Rita from the 37th Division Veterans Association since 1966. My husband Frank Lynn was the secretary-treasurer of the Camp Shelby Chapter almost as long as Ed was of the 140th Chapter. I enjoyed the story of Channel 4's Red, White & Boom when Ed took one of the Honor Flights to visit the WW II Memorial in DC.

Dear Children of Ed, the news of your father's death saddens me. Ed and I were classmates at St Charles. He was a day student; I was a boarder from Akron. We kept in touch by telephone. It was less than a year ago that we had lunch together at Panera. Now Father Schweitzer and I are the only members of our St Charles class left. May Ed rest in peace.
