Edward J. Dull, 83, of New Britain, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at the Hospital of Central CT, New Britain. He was the beloved husband of the late Teresa (Moleski) Dull. He was born in Middletown, CT, the son of the late John and Tessie (Kosmidek) Dull; he was a resident of New Britain for 66 years and a member of Holy Cross Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, served his country honorably and was a member of Northwestern TGM Post, New Britain. Ed was employed by Stanley Works for many years retiring in 1987. He is survived by his loving family, a son, Michael E. Dull and his wife Diana of Burlington; a daughter, Christine Morrow and her husband Vern of Charlotte, NC; two grandchildren, Jeffrey Dull and Allison Dull; his brother, Walter Dull and his wife Connie of South Windsor; two sisters, Helen Myska and Florence Moran, both of New Britain and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service, which will be held on Thursday, February 19th at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, New Britain. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Burritt Hill Funeral Home, 332 Burritt Street, New Britain is serving the family.
