Dear Hynes Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Hynes used to come to School #4 in Oceanside to talk to the children about his experiences in the war. He was so warm and caring. It was kind and generous of him to take the time to educate young people about this time in history. The children and teachers hung on his every word as he described the people he met and the events he lived through. He was a brave man. He was an excellent role model. He will be missed but fondly...

I was so sorry to hear that Mr. Hynes had passed away. I remember him fondly! To have had such a wonderful father and grandfather was a blessing for you and your families. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers.
