Not sure what to say?

My deepest condolences to the family. What a wonderful caring person he was! He touched so many lives-including mine. Some of my most memorable years were teaching at Parks School and summers with the Migrant Program. He did so much good for the children, staff and community. He will live on in our minds and hearts.

Mrs. Janes and Family, I am grateful and thankful to have been hired in Dist. 86 from the Philippines by Mr. Edward Janes! One of the most important steps we can take to strengthen our lives and remain firmly attached to the foundation of our Savior is to be worthily and partake of the sacrement each week! Missing and praying for you! Julia Estrada Joliet/Chicago.

Our prayers go out to the family of Mr. Janes. His radiant eyes were the kindest caring eyes; as they say," your eyes are the windows to your soul." You said so much with your eyes and attentive gestures. You were ever so kind. Mr. Janes, thank you for everything you accomplished for the Bilingual Program and the Migrant Program. Your heart was always with the kids. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for all your hard diligent work. You will not be forgotten by many whose lives you...

To The Family of Mr. Edward Janes:
My entire family and I express our deepest sympathy to you. May you always remember the good times you had together. I really enjoyed teaching at Parks School. Mr. Janes reached out constructively to teachers, students, parents, and the entire community. He was the best. May God always comfort and strengthen his relatives and friends.

I was a student at McKinley Park. I was picked by Mr. Janes as the school office runner. I will never forget him doing that and for taking the time to personally tell my parents. Rest in peace.

Mr. Edward Janes, You will be sadly missed by all the lives you inspired during your your time of being a loving and caring principal! You will be in my prayers!

Miss you so much Grandpa! You truly are the greatest man I have ever known. You will always be my best friend, my hero, my role model, my comedian, my sunshine, my laughter, my spirit, my strength and hope. I miss your goofy smile, your laugh, your jokes, your wake up calls, your touch, your voice, and who could forget your stories! How great it must be for God to have you all to himself... I'm sure he has told you, "Ed, I've heard this story a million times already"... but that...

I am sorry for the loss of Great Uncle Edward. He will be remembered for that huge smile and gracious spirit. Also, sorry to have missed the visitation and funeral while out of town. I am Julie Mandels, grandson, Tom.

I was a student at Parks School, and my mom was on the PTA there in the 60s when Mr. Janes first came to Parks! Now he is participating in a big PTA meeting in heaven ... With my Mom (Emma DiDesiderio Sinchak) and so many others who've gone before Mr. Janes!
May your happy memories pull you through your grief.
