Priscilla: I had no idea Eddie passed away until Dickie called me crying. He was very upset because he heard today from a friend. I had been out of the country the past 3 weeks, with no way of knowing..
Both of our hearts ache for you and the family. He was such a great man and a wonderful cousin. I had always pictured Eddie living forever. He was the backbone of our family. Eddie didn't attend funerals or calling hours. When my Father died I will never forget...

I just came across this and it brought back fond memories from the past... My brother-in-law Jim Hallam aka county ambulance did exclusive business with Eddie and Bobby back in the day...ALWAYS smiling and a really Great mechanic. I was just 20yrs old at the time but my god they were hilarious, especially when "Jim" "Doc Long and others got together! R.I.P Eddie and come on "7" :)

I met Eddie back in 1987 as I opened my shop across from the station. I remember his morning greetings and warm smile, along with some pretty nifty auto repairs. I hadn't seen much of him after he sold the station, but when I did, there was that smile. My condolences to his family.

To Mr. Joseph's family. My father, Larry Herrick, and their friend, Fay Bower, played slowpitch with your dad back in the late 60's. I am sorry to hear of his passing.

Pris, I am so shocked and sad of losing such a dear friend. I was surely blessed to know such a true friend and knowing him will always bring a smile and a laugh to me and others. I know he will be looking down on us and crack a joke Al Parke

Very sorry to learn of Ed's passing. I'll always remember the Softball games in Tburg and Ithaca.
