On Friday, we laid Edd to rest at the Delaware Memorial Veterans Cemetary. On a beautiful sunny day we sent him aloft with a Suduko and a fishing lure to keep him busy. The Honor Guard and Taps honored Edd's military service and an American flag was presented, a lovely ceremony. Thank you to all who keep Edd in their thoughts and prayers

Carol, may you and your family find peace and comfort from above during the days and months ahead. I can feel the love for Edd from reading the entries in the guest book. The years have not changed my feelings for such good neighbors.

So sorry to hear the news. My heart goes out to your whole family, and all of the lives he touched.

"To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die." ~Thomas Campbell~

I take comfort in knowing that fathers are woven into their children. They are part of us. They do not leave us.

Sending you all my love from California.

To all those who visited the family on Saturday, and those who sent cards or phoned, or wrote on the Guest Book,we thank you for your caring, your support and your love. Edd had so many friends and we all will miss him but our memories will sustain us thru it all. God Bless you all. The Keresty Family

Memories are a keepsake of the heart forever, and I know you have so many great memories. They will hit you when you least expect it and they will make you smile and cry at the same time. It does get easier, but it takes time. We're thinking of you now, all our love, The Bumsteads xoxo

His family was his pride and joy.
