Please accept my condolences on the passing of Edward Newman. I had the good fortune of serving on a number of committees with him, particulary at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He always provided a fine answer to a complex problem, and having him on the committee gave me great confidence that the hospital was spending its money wisely and that Eddie would keep us going in the right direction. He certainly did.
