Not sure what to say?

Although I worked for another agency, we worked together occasionally and Steve was the best at what we did, as well as a wonderful person to know. I will miss him and convey my deepest condolences to Steve's family.

Steve was a fine person. We will remember him for his investigative tenacity, his intelligence and his willingness to be fearlessly innovative. He offered some good advice to me regarding my career path, and because of that advice I enjoyed a successful career. You will be deeply missed; however, never forgotten by those lives you touch professionally, personally and spiritually. Jim Erson ( Washington, D.C.)

Steve was a fine person. We will remember him for his investigative tenacity, his intelligence and his willingness to be uniquely innovative. He offered some good advice to me regarding my career path, and because of that advice I enjoyed a successful career. You will be deeply missed; however, never forgotten by those lives you touch professionally, personally and spiritually.

I'm grateful I got to work with him. He was the consumate professional, no matter how simple or complex the investigation. A few short years ago he brought me "Christmas dinner" at 7 am on Christmas morning while I was stuck at work on a case. That type of class is unheard of now but that was common place for him. You will be missed.

My prayers are with you in this time of grief and morning. I remember my childhood days spending time at the O'Keefe house, always welcome, cared for and loved. Thanks for the memories. God Bless you.

You will be deeply missed. You were always so pleasant when I saw you at the Courthouse and at Home Depot. My deepest sympathy for you family.

My deepest condolences to Steves family. He was a true patriot. Drive on airborne, you will be missed.

My deepest sympathy to Mary and family. Steve was a true gentleman and a skilled prosecutor who was always so helpful to me over the years. I will miss running into Steve at Home Depot where we would laugh about his latest home improvement project. I feel so lucky to have called him my friend.

Steve was our skydiving friend for 12 years at Zephyrhills. He was Jumpmaster for the Phantom Airborne Brigade and was always professional and stressed safety for the team. Our prayers are with the family and Steve. He will be dearly missed by many.
