As we have come to another anniversary of that tragic day I wanted leave a note here. I am the K9 that was partnered with the canine named in honor of Mr. Rall. My partner Rall was retired on August 26th. We shared a long career together as he was a little over 10 years old when he retired. We became a certified team in September of 2011 and were side by side throughout those years together. I am from Newfoundland, Canada and knew Edward Ralls wifes family. On September 11, 2017 several family members made our way to New York and went to visit the memorial and did find Edward Ralls name. It truly is a place for all to gather

Good afternoon.
Yesterday was a busy day for us but I wanted to let the family know. My K9 partner (named for Mr. Rall) was very proud to share our story. Not just mine and my partner's story but also the stories that I have had the pleasure of hearing through the years of the great man named Edward Rall. I was on a local bus tour from Galesville, WiI a few years ago. We were visit the 9/11 Memorial....one of the fellow travelers, whom I have known for years, said to me, I know why you picked this particular spot to view the Memorial...I just happened to find an open spot to view the Memorial. I said to him, Why do you think I picked this spot . He said, I assumed you had a relative that lost his life here....he then pointed to the name right in front of me..Edward J.
