63 years ago, you and Aunt Kathryn were made my Godparents.
Though I left Philadelphia 49 years ago and have lived many places, we always stayed in touch.
One could always count that on our birthday, one of the first cards you would receive would be from Aunt Mary and Uncle Ed.
I just got the last one to be signed that way last week.
You had many things happen to you but you never complained.
When we talked on the phone you were always quick to tell me something new...

As sure as the sun comes up in the morning, after a long day at work, I could count on you to be on your patio in good weather with a smile, and a joke or the latest picture of a grandchild, but always the smile.
