Edward Silverberg

A good, kind, and gentle soul. Our wold is now a little more poorer without Ed.

I came across an old address label from Ed. We met on a group trip to Israel sometime in the 70's' We exchanged addresses and wrote a few letters back and forth. Back then I lived in VA.
Today I came on social media to see what I could find, and unfortunately discovered he has passed away. Sadly, life goes by very quickly. My sincere, belated condolences to all his family and friends.

Eddie and I were Homewood Terrace "inmates" together. Eddie was, even then, a good and kind person. One of the few "older" boys who did not bully the smaller kids. I also knew him as an adult, and he had not changed, except that he grew from a good and kind boy to a good and kind man. Karen and I miss him terribly, and will be remembered by many others who have wonderful memories of him.

I was deeply saddened to learn about Ed's passing. It seems as though I just saw his kind, friendly face at Koret. Ed was a very polite, considerate, and soft-spoken gentleman. I will miss seeing him. My sincerest and most heartfelt condolences to Irene and all who had the pleasure of knowing Ed. May his memory be eternal, and may he rest peacefully.
