We only had the pleasure of knowing Ed for a few days as he was Steve's roommate. He was such a kind man full of love for his loving family. You were truly the light of his life. I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of the Stauffer family. Ed has, and will be, missed at our local Legion Post, 289. The flag at our Post Home is now flying at half-mast in his honor.
