Mr. Chapin was one of a kind. He always had time to listen to us and to help us in any way he could.

Tracey -
Through my sister, Debbie White (Hazlet, NJ), I have a small idea of what a great man your dad was, and what an extraordinary relationship you (and others) had with him. Thinking of you and your family during this time.

I really appreciated Ed giving me an opportunity to work at Mecklenburg Co. DSS in 1969. I remember his great sense of humor and strong leadership skills. Thanks to him, I developed a great foundation that followed me as my career evolved. He will be sorely missed but his legacy lives on!

You have my deepest sympathy in the passing of Mr. Chapin. He was a very good friend of my Mom, Bobbie Scott. They started out together at Social Services and continued to work with each other for many years. We were honored and thankful that he was able to make it to my Mother's Home Going Service on June 15th. We lost her after a very brief illness to cancer on June 12. It was really a joy for my sister and I to see him. My prayers are with your family.

Ed was a close friend for many years. I know how much he loved his family. He was very proud of the Childrens` acoplishments. We will all miss his love and wise council.
