Dear Gale, Courtney, & Whitney,
Buddie was a good friend, and I'm blessed to have known his loyalty, his helpfulness, and his quiet sense of humor. He'll be missed and remembered.
Miss Becky

I have known Buddy and Gayle just about all of my life. They were a big part of my church family growing up and was always there when we needed help with anything. Gayle was our GA's teacher and Buddy was always around. Buddy always made it a point to let you know how much you meant to him and how special you were. He will be truly missed by everyone, the Fire Dept, the town of Lake View, the First Baptist Church members and by everyone that knew him growing up that has moved on. Buddy, you...

Mr. Buddy is a man from my hometown with whom I always enjoyed bantering. He had that pipe hanging and a smile right behind it every time I saw him. His volunteer work with the Lake View Fire Dept. was extraordinary and my family deeply appreciates his fighting the fire that destroyed our home years ago. He was one of the best and most fun band boosters. What a pair he and my dad made! I could go on and on about his volunteering with various organizations. But most importantly, he LOVED...

I know your hearts are broken right now. I will be praying for all you.

For over 20 years, I have known Buddie Horne, not without our tiffs, but it always seemed to work out. I considered him a co-worker with fire and EMS but I also considered him a friend. Just 8 short months ago, another friend from this shift left too soon and now the shift is being reunited. Farewell Goat...we'll miss you...to the family, my heart and prayers are with you always.
