Big Ed Lassettre

You are known to me only through a photo and through my grandfather David Olinger, who also passed away a while ago. You and my grandfather were good friends whom you called Cork. I wanted to thank you and the photo for being mindful for my grandfather. He remembered you were quiet good at mathematics. Now I'm seeing you were that and more. I hope you have peace at last and love goes to your family. Best of luck "Big Ed" Lassettre (nee' Slim), and best of love from my grandfather Cork.

I send my condolences to Polly, children and family.
I enjoyed working with ED but more important Dorris & I enjoyed the friendship
with his family and our kids who attended Harker Academy together.
Ed enjoyed passing me on the curve with
his 911 when I was going about 75 MPH in
my 280Z!

Ed, I remember our days working at IBM and your sage advise and support. We will miss you.

We will miss visiting with you at holidays and enjoying your humor and insights.
Fond memories.

Francoise and Michel Epsztein will always remember your 60th birthday party!!
All my love to Polly in particular and your family for this very sad passing!

Ed, wherever you may be now - which will not be far from a computer - we here in the UK will miss you. For many of us you were our role model through your technical brilliance and your sincere friendship. It has been my privilege to work with you and know you. My condolences to your family.
