Not sure what to say?

I was just going through old pictures and videos of you and I and thought I would send you a message and found out you went to be with our Father in Heaven. You changed the lives of so many... I will never get that picture out of my head of you doing the hulk move to encourage Brandon to hang in there. Much love to your beautiful wife, Leslie. If I knew how to reach your mom I have a message for her from you. God speed, my dear friend. Until I see you again. ..

I meet Eddie as a young boy 13,a wonder young boy who loved boating, water sking a fun and just all round great guy, our family loved him very much, we didn't get to see him much in these past years but we have a memories, of a fine young boy that became a wonderful man, we are very sorry for your loss as this time for you is hard god's grace will fill your hearts with all the wonderful times you spend with ed, and to know he is walking the streets of gold and never to suffer agin, time will...

My family was introduced to Ed through his Real Estate ventures in Richmond. My son leased a home from him during his college education at VCU with two other roommates (Sean, Joey and Corey) at 706. They loved Ed with his kind demeanor and understanding with these thriving young men. Ed always had a kind word for the boys(Men)and worked with them in all aspects. He will truly be missed but he has always been blessed. May the good Lord give you the family strength during this time to...

So sorry to hear of this. Although we knew each other only slightly at business school, Ed, your ready smile and positive nature made me wish we'd spent more time together. I can see from the many dozens of well-wishers that you will be missed, but always remembered in the best ways, close to the heart.

I got to know Ed at UVa as we had many mutual friends and he was the kind of guy that everyone liked--he was just so much fun to be around. Even 20 years later, I still smile at many of the funny stories that involved Ed. And he led such a courageous battle for so many years. He will be deeply missed.

I was so saddened to learn of Ed's passing. He was such a nice, nice guy. Such a loss for all. My condolences to all his family.

As the mother of Eddie Stone, I wish to thank all of you who have taken time to write such meaningful memories of my son. I am so grateful of his many friends. You all meant so much to him! Eleanor Collins

As most classmates at Haas, I remember Ed as an amazing, kind and very positive person, always with a smile. My deepest sympathies to his family and close ones, and may he rest in peace. Goodbye Ed.

Eddie was the toughest, most courageous person I've ever known. He was a true inspiration. He has shown us all how to embrace life and live it to it's fullest. I'm honored and grateful to call him my friend.
