Dear Grandma,

It doesn't seem real to me that you are gone. I will miss you very much. Just like Jessica, i have many fond memories of you throughout my life. I loved talking to you about books, or what was happening on the news, and hearing your stories. I will never forget them. You were a wonderful grandmother.

I was very close to my Grandma Effie and spent a lot of time with her as a child. My most fond memory is when my mother would drive my brother and me out to her house in Eureka on the weekends for sleepovers. We would walk around the old mining town and play in the hills behind her house. I would stay up and talk to her late at night, asking her the many questions that children do while she would tell me all of her stories. She will be deeply missed. I love you Grandma!

Aunt Effie, you will be missed by all of us.

I truly miss you.

Some of my fondest childhood memories include Aunt Effie and Uncle Gordon. I loved to go their home. Aunt Effie always made everything fun and exciting when I was with her. Even when I became an adult, I thoroughly enjoyed visiting with Aunt Effie. She could always make me laugh. Thank you Aunt Effie for being such a wonderful aunt. Love, Karen

Dear Cousins,

What a fabulous and classy lady she was.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time.
