Not sure what to say?

Katherine Markovich Lead would send her condolences if she could (she has Alzheimer's). She and Effie were close friends in their days as young adults in the Cathlamet area and she always spoke of Effie with great fondness. On behalf of our mother, my sister and I are thinking of you and your family with deepest sympathy.

Effie was such a big part of Cathlamet history. Effie was someone so special she will never be forgotten.

Effie was a lady to the end, her ear rings were as important as her wonderful smile when she left the house each morning. I feel blessed that my family and I knew her and shared in her stories.

Effie's memory will live on forever in everyone's memories. Our deepest sympathy to you all,

Terry, Sandy, Zak and Alex

I was unable to grow up in my home town, we moved away after first grade. I do have memorys that I will hold dearly. My family wish's all well. Deborah (Snyder) Rogers, Husband Gene Rogers and our Three children Marcia, Milo and Matthew

I have so many fond memories of Effie from the time I was a small child until adulthood. Effie was such a good friend to my mother Inez Knopski. They often visited me at my work in Portland when they had been to Portland for doctor appointments. The best one was when they came into my office with dark glasses laughing all the way saying how they looked like the "Blues Brothers". Effie will be greatly missed by many.
