As I re-read Aunt Eileen's book this mornning in her memory, I am once again touched by the deep connection she had with her family and friends. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at the death of your Mother.

Our Mother, Teresa Mates, moved into St. Joseph's Villa on Oct. 10, 2010, due to Alzheimer-related diagnosis/symptoms. Mom is 83 years young. She is currently in their special care unit on Hospice care.

Our Father, Bob Mates, died Oct. 11, 1997, at home of congestive heart failure, at age 76.
