Heard about Elaine's passing, and was waiting for the obituary, but some how missed it. Sorry I missed the wake and funeral, but I want you to know that I have been thinking about you and your loss. I can't ever remember seeing you when Elaine was not by your side. The last time I saw you guys was at Melvin's memorial service, where we were able to share those great memories of those family campouts. I am sure Elaine and Maureen are watching over our families...

I just learned of Elaine's passing my sincere condolences to you and your love ones. I went to school with Elaine, she was always friendly with a big smile, that's the way I will remember her. We were away at the time of her passing.

Dear Charlie,

I so remember the basketball games back in the day and running into both of you in town. Both of you always had a smile and a cheerful greeting and even though we would not see each other often it was those few times over the years with the smiles and nice things to say that I have always kept and that is what I will always hold close.
