Not sure what to say?

I remember her as a funny, kind Christian.

Mrs. Barry introduced me to calculus and opened my eyes to the wider mathematical universe. You might say the road to my Ph.D. began at her chalkboard. She was an excellent educator and an example for all. Her contributions to the future scientists of America is secure. Prayers for you all, and Prayers in celebration of her life and the positive impact she had on me.

We wish you comfort and peace as you reflect on the years that you created special memories together as a family, and the love you shared with Elayne. We remember Elayne as a dedicated math teacher, wonderful colleague and Northview friend (Gene in the high school, Barb in the elementary, and our daughters as her students).

I'm extremely thankful that I got to have her all four years at Northview. Seeing her during that extended time allowed me to witness how kind, gracious, patient, and understanding she was with everyone. She was one of my most influential teachers and showed me how rewarding it is to help others even if you may not see the end result. Grateful for the impact she has had on my life and many others.

Mrs Barry was one of the nicest teachers I had at NHS. She always took the time to make math understandable to me. She always had a smile on her face. My prayers to the family.

Doug and family - I will be out of town on the date of Elayne's service. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. Elayne was a beautiful person through and through.

Our prayers go out to Doug and Elayne's family. Elayne was such a wonderful person and friend. She was the most dedicated teacher I have known. I can't begin to tell you all of the great things she accomplished in her years at Northview.

Doug you and your entire family are in our prayers. Elayne will be missed by us and many others. Jim & Connie DeYoung

Scott and Lisa,
Extending our deepest sympathy to you and your family during this very difficult time. You all are in our thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Juli and John Jaksa
