Eleanor Ann Sasso

I met Eleanor thru German Shepherd rescue where she first helped us (long distance) with our dogs diet AND training via video when we rescues 2 GSs that did not get along. Eleanor was instrumental in getting us (training us) to become a family. I considered her a friend (even tho we had not met in person). I organized a Go Fund Me after her accident and we stayed in touch, although spotty, after that. With much love, I send my sincerest condolences to her family

The celebration of Eleanor's life at the Saugatuck Congregational church was done very well. The photos of Eleanor that streamed during the event were wonderful to see. She would have been very pleased. Well done, Dara, Willow and Peter! Judy Reid

I wish I could speak for Roman, Largo and all other spectacular members of her canine circle, but even though I cant, I hope we hear them... the efforts she made to rescue, nurture and sustain them were an example to all of us... sleep with angels Eleanor...

I will miss Eleanor very much. My heart goes out to her family. Please keep me informed of the plans.

I appreciate the enthusiasm Eleanor had with organizing the pasta dinners with a speaker on an outdoors topic for the Appalachian Mountain Club in Westport, Conn. I always looked forward to the social aspect of the dinners, and also hearing the talk with the photos about people's trips in nature. She will be missed.
