Not sure what to say?

I WAS SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT ELI, I HAVE KNOWN HIM MANY YEARS, MY HUSBAND WAS A CHGO POLICE OFFICER AND KNEW HIM WELL. HE WAS A NICE MAN AND A GOOD POLICE OFFICER.

I knew Commader Blumenthal for almost 20 years. Being actively involved in the Jewish Community, there were a number of occasions when he accomplished much through his role with the Chicago Police Department to help worthwhile people and Jewish institutions in need, who otherwise would have been out of luck.
On his days off, he regularly drove my Uncle Rabbi Kalman Barkin, o'h, to aid him in his work for Slabodker Yeshiva in Bnei Brak, Israel.
He was a wonderful man and he will be...

Our sincere condolences to the Blumenthal Family. Eli was a long standing member of our health at the Swissotel and he will be sadly missed by all.
