Not sure what to say?

I had had the pleasure of meeting Liz about three years ago. We instantly became fast friends. She was smart, witty and funny. I will miss her. May God comfort and bless the family.

I know the pain of loosing a wife of more than 50 years and I share your sorrow. My wife's last message to me was "take care of yourself"and I am sure Liz would want you to do the something. Stay well.

Single Memorial Tree

My deepest sympathy to the Alston family. Liz was my cooperating teacher when I did my student teaching at Chicora High School in the spring of 1973. It didn't take me long to realize how blessed I was to be paired with her as I began my career in education. She was an outstanding teacher who grew to become my colleague and friend. We want express our sincere condolences to the Alston family. From the Pierce and Mitchell family. R.I.P

I am so sorry for your loss -- and for the loss to the entire community. Liz made such a remarkable difference in many lives, so certainly her legacy will live on. God's peace to the family.

Sending our deepest sympathy to the Alston Family. Thank you Mrs. Alston for you dedication to our children and your wisdom and knowledge that you have shared for so many years.

Thinking of you and wish you hope in the midst of sorrow, comfort in the midst of pain. I only met Liz 2-3 times when she came by Charleston Promise Neighborhood (Sherrie's office), and she made quite an impression on me. Very knowledgeable, very funny, and definitely loved her family.

The family and friends have my sincere condolences. Rest in Peace Mrs. Alston. I knew her while working at the Old Citadel Building.
