Not sure what to say?

My thoughts are with Mr. Fanning, Trip, and Lizzie at this sad time. I have so many good memories of BA during classes at MSM, and talks with her around her kitchen table during high school. She was an early advocate of mine for following my heart and making art. She was a huge inspiration and is in the hearts and memories of so many.

To the Fanning and Warthling Families:

My prayers and thoughts are with you at such a difficult, sad time. Mrs. Fanning was such a vibrant, funny, warm lady! She is part of my favorite memories of being a student at Mount St. Mary's. I cannot remember her not smiling or laughing, she will be missed terribly!

Tom, Liz and Trip-
I only recently heard of the loss of your dear mother, B.A. It brought tears to my eyes instantly. She will forever remain in the hearts of many. She touched so many lives with her humor and wisdom. I will never forget sitting in a health class at Mt. St. Mary's with B.A., discussing child birth. She told us, "Never forget your best lipstick on the way to a delivery." When I had my daughter, I remembered her words of wit!
With love and prayers,

Mrs. Fanning was one of my favorite teachers ar the Mount. I was lucky enough to go on the Senior trip with her in 1984, we had a great time. God Bless her and her family.

Tom, Liz and Trip --

We were so sorry to hear of BA's passing. Although it has been a while since we last saw her, we were flooded with special memories -- among them Checkers races, her fabulous parties, annual trips to the Cape and our Lobster feasts, working the aid station at the marathons and Fall Festival in Ellicottville. She was a very, very special lady and we will cherish our memories of her. Our deepest condolences to all of you.

Dear Tom and family
We are truly sorry to read about your loss. Our deepest sympathy.
Friends from long ago.

I had the pleasure of being a student of B.A.'s at the Mount. She was truly a gifted teacher and always a free spirit. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Tom, Liz and Trip,
My life has been forever touched by B.A. My years spent teaching with her remain a treasure, and I learned so much from her about what it meant to be a giving person. We laughed together so many times, as we shared stories and "teaching moments". Never will I forget the Christmas faculty parties at your home. I remember that it was the first time I had actually eaten "chestnuts roasting on an open fire", and it was so delightful! B.A.'s...

I had the pleasure of serving on the faculty at the Mount with BA nearly 20 years ago...she was a joy to know! What a wonderful person..my heart goes out to all of you who suffer her loss.
