So sorry for the loss of your mother. My dad and mom thought highly of her and shared a great longtime downtown Texarkana friendship. Just wanted you to know I'm thinking of you during this time. Our lives are richer in having known Mrs. Griffin. She was a wise lady and always kind to my children and me. I cared for her and respected her very much. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family. Alma, James, Jeannie, and Cheryl.

Tootsie was a very special woman to me, and she always treated me like one of her own. I loved her dearly and I love each one of y'all...my 2nd family. I'm praying for peace & comfort for each of you.
