Not sure what to say?

"Redd" made the best wheat dinner rolls! Her guitar students belonged to her group, The Swingin' Strings. She made that old schoolhouse a cozy home and tended the flowers and yard with love. Her precious dog, Boots, was a beloved family member. She loved to go tramping for Indian artifacts and could spot them with uncanny precision. She was a unique person and never a cookie cutter personality! I shall always miss her; she holds a special place in my heart.

She was a great person and will be missed by many for many different reasons.

I met this fantastic lady when she rescued a kitty that had been thrown out of a moving car and its face torn away. An article on the incident was printed in the local paper. I helped with the enormous vet bill. The little kitten healed and was a such a delight. She named him Casey. We remained friends from that point on. She loved animals as much as she loved music. She was certainly full of life and a hard worker with her Orchard. I will always have the deepest respect for her. A finer lady...

Thanks for getting me off to a great start Liz.

Mrs. Houston was a kind and gentile soul who taught me how to play guitar at a young age. She cared deeply for her students and always showed patience kindness in any circumstance. She will be truly missed.
