Bette and Jimmy used to be my neighbors in Hayward. They were the ones who screened and selected me to rent a room from Marge in 1992. They always helped me whenever I needed help. They included me in their special family gatherings way before I actually became part of the Langford family.

Bette and I spent many hours at night in her kitchen talking and trying to solve world problems. I enjoy telling her about my complaints at work and practicing Taekwondo in her basement....
