I had the pleasure of meeting Betty through Evelyn Hunt in Cleveland, Ohio. She was kind and welcoming to me, an international student from South Africa, studying at Case Western Reserve University. She was curious and interested in my life in South Africa and I found her supportive and understanding of the complex political situation. Our paths did not cross again but I remember the respect and warmth she exuded. I admired her beautiful art work adorning Evelyn's home. My deepest sympathy to...

So sorry about Elizabeth; she had a full life and was a very good friend of mine. We hit is off immediately when we first met in the 70s. We did many activities in a span of over 40 years. She was so generous with her talents and abilities as an artist and an activist for a better world. I treasure the time I spent with her, and often with mutual friends.

i pray for her family and her many relatives including many nieces and nephews and their families.

She can now rest...

Elizabeth was a steady daily mass attender with my wife and I at St Stephens. We often saw her walking to and from mass despite the distance, the weather and her age. She was quick with a smile and we enjoyed visiting her art studio to see her blessing as an artist. May God bless Elizabeth and let perpetucl light shine upon her! Dan & Ann Salcido

Betty O'Neill served as International Communication Coordinator during a pivotal time in the history of our community. Her quiet wisdom, insight and steadfast integrity proved to be both timely and invaluable to our international membership and continued future. Betty O'Neill was a cherished member of her community, Sisters For Christian Community for many years. She served as its International Communications Coordinator and was active in her region. Her beautiful works of art often decorated our International Assemblies in the summer months. She will be missed not only by her family but also by her religious community.

Our sympathy to her nieces, nephews, and close friends. I know she had many. May she rest in peace.
