Not sure what to say?

Dear Bubba, Egie and Amanda,
I'm so sorry to hear about your mother. She has been a part of my life for over 60 years, as have the rest of the Sawyer family. Thankfully, I was down from Washington a few months ago and had a chance to visit with her and spoke with her not too long ago. I have always thought of her as a second mother and she always treated me as such. Many, many fond memories come flooding back to me.
love to all,
Dan and Fay Alexander

Dear sawyer family, I have just learned of Mrs Sawyers passing away. On behalf of the entire Alexander family we are all so sorry. All of us and may other families will always have wonderful memories of your mother on the wharf and in your home and everywhere around jubilee beach. She was such a wonderful lady and a great example to all of us and a good friend to my parents. She will be greatly missed. I will be in touch personaly. I I am so sorry. Richard Alexander

Dear Sawyer and Noble Family,
We were so saddened by the news of Sissy's death.
Mamma (Madelyn Nichols) and I talked about how long we have known Sissy. Mom knew Sissy as, Little Sister and played with her as children. Dennis and I knew Sissy as our wonderful caring neighbor.
I remember the time a hurricane was coming and we told her we had decided to stay in our house on 730 Mobile Street. Sissy told me "No, you are going to the Baptist Church to ride out the storm."...

No words can ever adequately express the loss of a loved one. For me the loss of Tykie was one of the low points of my life. I know that the loss of Little Sister is equally painful. The loss of any member of the member of this family touches my family with grief and pain. Love to Amanda, Billy, Bubba, Egie, Jerry, and all members of the family.
You know you are part of those I chose to be part of my family since I arrived withour family and Tykie took me in. Blessings to all

To the Sawyer family,

This is sad news. She was a wonderful woman and what a fine family she raised. I pray for you and hope that you lean on God during these times. She is now with him, and will sit at his table. We will see her there some day!

My mother was one of her best friends, and I believe my mother loved her like a sister. Since all my relatives lived in another state for most of my young life, I looked upon Maris as an aunt, and loved her dearly. She brightened the world around her with her infectious enthusiasm, and was always ready to help people and feed people. Fairhope has lost a gem. She will be sorely missed.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Maris was such a wonderful woman and I always enjoyed spending time with her. The Sawyers have been been a part of my family since before I was born. I've included a picture of my sister and I with our babies visiting Maris and Gordon in 1993.

Please know Suzanne(Morgan- Joe and Betty's daughter) and I are thinking of your family and praying for all of you. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Remembering all the Sawyers with love and prayers.
