I simply adored Ellen and our years working together at the Capitol. She was a wonderful lady and a wealth of knowledge. She is a treasure that will truly be missed. My deepest condolences.

Working with Ellen Shea at the US Capitol was a joyful highlight of my career! Deeply knowledgeable about decorative Arts and American history, kind and always with a twinkle in her eye, she was a special friend too. Condolences to her family, especially her son Tony, his wife and son. She was a true original and will be sorely missed, but what a remarkable life!

I worked with Ellen in her last years at the Capitol. She was a wonderful coworker and friend and I'm blessed to have worked alongside her and heard so many stories of her many years on the Hill. Requiescat in Pace.
