Ellison passed away peacefully on March 7 at Saanich Peninsula Hospital. He is predeceased by his first love, Marion, in 2000 and his second love, Donna, in 2007. Ellison is survived by his children, Bob and Ruth, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a loving step family. He was popular wherever he went, always remembering and using the names of those he met. He endeared himself to those whose lives he touched, particularly through the many hours of volunteer work he did throughout his life. He was an avid tennis player, golfer, lawn bowler and a champion consumer of ice cream.
