Emile Weaver passed away in New Orleans, Louisiana. The obituary was featured in The Times-Picayune on January 15, 2006.
Coach Weaver played a big part in my up bringing having played football for him at St.Raphael and at Holy Cross. He always told you like it was and for that he had my respect. Carol, we were saddened to learn of Emile's passing. He was one of a kind. I had the pleasure of playing ball and bowling with and against him over a forty year period. Coach,,I never got to know you really well as a youngster. I played and coached at Goretti,and did both against you. Your dedication to many young children should and will be appreciated.
