Missing my sister

I and many of the women who were friends of Chico for a couple/few years were so saddened to see her obituary in the paper. We lost touch when she began traveling to Riverside more and more often. We women met regularly several times a week. Chico was our unofficial fashion plate with those flowy tops, fancy leggings, high wedge sandals and of course, a matching hat! She was beautiful, fun, authentic and so loveable. She will be missed but I believe she's in Paradise! My husband and I...

I'm so sorry to hear about Emily's passing. My sincere condolences.

All of us at Indian Wells country club, the security department will miss you dearly, your smile made our day, thank you for the memories. R.I.P Beautiful

The inevitable thing I will miss about her is that contagious laugh she had. It has been a while since I have seen her but there was never a better friend. She had an excitement about life that transcended cultures and differences. She never let anything stop her discovering new things about others and herself, nor in telling you what she thought of things. She enjoyed freedom of thought and mind, and more than most of us, that allowed her to transcend worlds. I will miss her.

Chico and I have been friends for over 50 years. We first met in Honolulu and continued to be friends when we moved to California. She was a one-of-a-kind person loved by all. We took many vacations together and laughed and had a great time. I will miss her a great deal but I know we will be together at a future time. Sending much aloha to her Ohana. Love, Donna
