Dear Aunt Mimi,

I hope that you can rest in peace finally. You are a fighter. You were such a sweet and caring woman and I will never forget you.

Love you!

To Emily’s Family,
My mother Bertha Velky worked with Emily at D.M. Reads years ago. I remember her coming to our house on Summit St. in Bridgeport on various holidays. We would pick her up at the Success Apartments and bring over to the house for the day. She was the sweetest and most gracious person I've ever met, very tiny and fragile like a little girl. Emily always came over with home made goodies for all. Mother was always proud to have had such a friend and they worked well together...

My dear Auntie Mimi:
Thank you for being such a special part of our lives. We'll never forget your thoughtfulness throughout the years and how special you made each holiday and birthday! Your independence and courage were an inspiration to me. I know you will rest peacefully and your mother, father, sister and brother have welcomed you home. We will all miss you terribly but at the same time we are gratefull for all the years we had with you and the love you shared with us.
Sweet...
