We will miss you Emily! Say hi to Wendall and Vern for me! Love you!

Janet and family, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. I only knew her since 2006,but she was always kind to me when I visited. You are all in my prayers. Janet, you were such a blessing to her for all that you have done so she could stay peacefully at home. Bless you!

Janet and Family,

It is with sadness that we have heard that we have lost Emily Jane and we give you our heartfelt sympathy. In knowing Emily Jane, Johnny, and you was always educational and challenging to understand the family connections during your visits to Lucas at my Grandma Grace's. Emily Jane touched many people's lives with her history and stories about our families. She will be greatly missed by all her acquaintances.

If you or any of your family are in...

Janet and Family,
Your love and devotion to your Mother and Father have been an inspiration.

As Chair of the Nat'l. REAL Daughters Committee, DUVCW, I must say we will miss her. It was a pleasure to know Ms. Emily. Her wonderful stories she shared will forever keep the 'camp fires' burning.

My deepest best wishes & sympathy to the all the family & close friends of Emily-it was my great privledge to know & appreciate her as both a former teacher & good friend and be there when she agreed to a rare interview with friend Mike Hooper who worked for the Topeka-Times near or on her 80th Birthday in 2004-gone now but never forgotten-more than history-her Father's legacy as artist, populist teacher & Union veteran also live on not just in the Garden of Eden he...

Emily Jane was very helpful to the Garden of Eden, Incorporated, and our efforts to faithfully preserve her family's home and her father's art in Lucas, KS. We enjoyed meeting her, and appreciated her perspective on her parents' lives.

We will all miss you mom. Your wit and humor was never lost, even in these later years. Watch for the guy with the "Steve loves Janie" sign. He's been waiting for you. I will love you always, your son, Kirk.
