Dear Barb, Tracy and family. Having heard all the wonderful times you all have shared as a family, you will always have great memories to the love for and from this wonderful lady, Emma. She has certainly left a lasting legacy through her children and grandchildren. Please know you all are in my prayers and thoughts. Call me if I can be helpful in any way. Love and hugs.. Charlotte

I got to know Emma and the Shoemaker family when I was a kid running around the Presbyterian Church on Derry Street, Harrisburg. Later in the 1970s I got to meet Emma again, when my family moved into a home in Rutherford. She was a very loving person to my family and all people who knew her. She loved her family and friends with all the love that she possessed. May she rest in peace and my deepest sympathy to the extended Shoemaker family.
