To Mrs. Mason & Family:

I only knew George for such a short time while I worked at UARCO just before they closed their doors in 1998. I knew so little of him that I didn't even know that he went by the name "butch". But this much I did know, every time we would bump into one another, at the plant or on the street, we would always end up having a good laugh together over some insignificant thing or other. Beyond the laughs, I always knew that George had character and intelligence...
