Eric Pedersen

Love & Prayers to his family. I have hiked this path up to the cross for a few years now. Just now a moment ago I looked up Eric´s story and to no surprise it touched my soul: what a beautiful soul he was: shining like the sun does on this path overlooking beautiful views of our mountain. Truth be told I was grieving the loss of my younger brother and would hike this trail and I found great peace here: it´s a special place.

I stumbled upon Eric´s memorial while on a hike in Clayton and looked him up out of curiosity. Reading about him made me tear up a bit-it´s been nearly ten years and he´s still touching new hearts! Sitting here on his bench I can feel how awfully loved he was. That´s all we can ask for in this life :). Rest easy, Eric.

Hello, I did not know Eric Pedersen, however I found out about him in an interesting way yesterday, I wanted to tell that story, hope thats OK.
I just retired 35 years in the telephone business, and have an interest in local history. In 1914, a major long distance toll line was built directly from Oakland to Stockton. Oh Eric, you are such an amazing guy, I'm really sorry to hear you've left us. You used to do the sweetest things. One time you made me a necklace out of spare change. Dear Paula & Dave.
I am so sorry to hear of Eric's passing. Paula & I spent many an hour talking about your children as they were growing up. There are many similarities between your sons and ours. My heart felt thoughts and compassion go out to your family at this time of loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
