Ernest Ray Barnes, Jr., age 52, passed away on March 14, 2018, at the Harlan ARH.


He was born on December 11, 1965, in Pineville, KY, to Ernest and Vivian Barnes.


He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Earnest and Rosalie Barnes and Thomas and Clara Hubbard, uncles, Jim Barnes and Thomas Hubbard, aunts, Tommylynn Daniels, Faye Lane, Bonnie Nix and Mary Helen Ealy and great niece, Ashlyn David.


He is survived by the following members of his family:


Daughter: Tasha Barnes and Freddy Howard


Sisters: Kim and Jesse Saylor, Sheila Barnes, Susan and Chester Girffin, and Deanna and Jonathon Farmer


Nieces: Abby, Emma, Shelbee, and Haelyn Farmer, Brittany David, Paige Sayler, and Alena Goshen


Nephews: Brian Saylor, Timothy Griffin, Connor Griffin, Landon David, Easton David, Blake Saylor and Ronald Goshen


Grandchildren: Chelsea, Chad, Camron, Caiden Craig


Mother and Father: Earnest (Red) and Vivian (Dolly) Barnes


Special Family friend and Doctor, Misty Turner


Special cousins: Tony Cox, Vernon Daniels, and Jason Howard


And a host of aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.


Funeral services will be 2pm on Saturday, March 17, 2018, at the Tuggles Baptist Church.


Graveside will follow at the Saylor Cemetery in Pathfork, KY.


The family will receive friends after 6pm on Friday, March 16, 2018, at the Tuggles Baptist Church.
