Not sure what to say?

I got to know Bill as a youngster; he played a lot of tennis with my Dad. He always called him "brother". Bill was such a genuinely good person who always had a kind word for everyone.

I had the honor and privledge of working for Mr. Smith at Sovran Bank in Petersburg in the late 80s. Mr. Smith was a gentleman banker and he had a very positive influence on my early banking career.

I was so sorry to hear about your dad. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Mrs. Smith,
I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Smith. My parents were Jo and Ralph Burgess and they thought the world of both of you. I am so glad I got to see Mr. Smith at the Dixie a few months ago. Doug and I will be praying for your family during this sad time. Love, Ann Burgess Smith

Mike, I was so sorry to hear about your father. I wish I had known earlier. Hope you remember me from UPS/Overnite. You were always so special to me.

Mike and Family:

I am very sorry for your loss. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Nell & family,

You may not remember me, but I played tennis at G. W. with Bill in high school. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Bill was such a fine man, and we will all miss him.

Grace and peace,
Robert Ramey

I was sorry to read of Bill's passing. We worked together at First & Merchants Bank for many years. He was a fine friend who always had a smile on his face. I'll miss seeing him and his buddies in Jimmy's Grill at lunch time. My condolences go to his family, Jimmie Stewart

Mike, I am very sorry to hear about your father. Please know you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers at this time.
