Ernest L. "Ernie" Newsom

Grandpaw you will be so greatly missed. I will always remember and cherrish all the days out on Babcock. Chasing hogs, and shooting gators with beebee guns! I felt closer to you than any other Newsom. My dad was so proud of you and to be your son. And he tells me every day that he hopes to live up to that. And I think he is. Rylee will miss you so much...and of course the ice cream and cake you always gave her. I'll never let her "Big Papa" be forgotten! I will keep you close to my heart...

Dear Betty and Family,
Bobbi and I enjoyed getting to know Ernie who was such a warm and wonderful person with a great sense of humor. Mom (Shirley) was very concerned about his declining health and deeply saddened when she received the news.
