I spoke with my Dad, Sid Jacobson, who reminded me that he had met Ernie back in the 50's when they both were boycubs at Harveys. They even double-dated, Ernie with his bough and my dad with his. Apparently both couples hit it off cause they married. And one turned out to have Kathy and me! So, they were chums from the beginning.
