Not sure what to say?

Three years today. We remember. Thank you for your ultimate sacrifice. We hold your family in our prayers, especially your son serving in Afghanistan.

I cant believe this...Sgt Romans was my Senior DI and I have always remembered his teachings and leadership. I try to look him up today and find this. I cant thank him enough for making the Marine I am today and my deepest sympothy goes to his family.

Love and miss you Bro. Erv. We really miss you at family dinners. You and I would control the kitchen.. You MEAT eater you. Your special gift to us was to do what we couldn't, Battle the enemy everyday & night. May that gift remain to the few who serve in BLUE!
In Jesus' Name. Amen.

To a great Marine, and a great American. Semper Fidelis.

GySgt, USMC (Ret.) (MAG-42)

Erv, You are gone but not forgotten brother. You live on in our hearts and memories. Semper Fidelis. Major James Griffiths, USMC Alameda, CA circa 84/85

Erv was a person who never gave up on himself or those he loved, may his soul help guide and protect those in life that mean so much to him.

Words can never express the thanks we feel for hero's such as Erv. I pray every day that God will bless and protect police officers. May you rest in the knowledge that Erv Romans will never be forgotten.

My daughter served under Sgt. Romans and her stories of his laughter, his kindess and his inspiration to be the best officer she can be will always be a part of her. I am so sorry for your loss.
