Not sure what to say?

I am sorry to learn of Estelle's passing. I grew up on Briar Lane in Newark and Estelle and Hi Miller lived across the street from us. They were wonderful friends and neighbors. Our family lost touch with them when they moved to Florida. Reading her memorial tribute reminded me of her teaching career and historical interests. My deepest sympathy to her family.

I'd like to extend my condolences to the family and friends for the loss of your loved one Estelle K. Miller, may the words at 2 Thessalonians 2:16, 17 soothe your hearts.

She was my 5th grade teacher at Central in 1955. I had a very rewarding friendship with her and Hi for decades afterward. They both added so much to the Newark school system during their tenure. Frank Tolomeo (NHS 1963)
