Not sure what to say?

My mom and dad (Ugo and Lillian Sartorelli) arrived at the Gardens in February 2015 and Esther and Glen were the first people they met. The two couples hit it off from the start and they would eat lunch together every day. My dad loved talking to Glen, as they were both in WWII. When Glenn passed and my mom was moved to Woodbridge due to worsening dementia, my dad and Esther stayed close. He would always say that Esther was one of the nicest people he'd ever met. When my mom passed away this...

Our Dad, Robert Pirie, was greeted by Esther and Glen upon his arrival at The Gardens. He enjoyed many conversations with them both. When our Dad passed, Esther wrote a comforting note to our family, that showed us what close friends they had all become. Her kindness will not be forgotten. My sympathies to her family.

Another community icon has passed away. I was so blessed to have known her and her husband, Glen. They were pillar community servants that will be sorely missed. let's hope their efforts rubbed off.

Esther, my writing friend. Rest in peace and rise in glory.

We will be with you in spirit on Friday Nancy. Our sincere condolences to you and your family. Your mother was blessed with a strong faith, and loving daughters by her side. All our love, P & B

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to your family at this difficult time. May knowing that God understands your grief and that He cares for you, bring you comfort and peace ~ 1 Peter 5:6,7.

My sincerest sympathy to your family. My parents, Raymond and Jean Marr, who came to The Gardens in May of 2010, were first befriended by Glen and Esther. They spent many wonderful times together, including my father driving and your parents navigating around Vermont. They have both since passed.
Esther was an amazing woman, especially living to reach the age of 100. My family was blessed to have known her.
