A homegoing service celebrating the life of Eugene N. "Gene" Hunt, 56 of Newark will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 2, 2019 at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 383 Washington St., Newark with Rev. Mario R. Williams officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

So very sorry to hear of Gene's passing. He was a great friend, golfing buddy and coworker at Super Duper back in the 80s. His work ethic and integrity was second to none, and he was one of the finest human beings I have ever known.
