Eugene "Tink" Donald Strouse, Sr., 66, of Bangor, PA, passed away Friday, December 20th, at his residence. Born: Tink was born in East Stroudsburg, PA on January 27, 1947, a son of Edna (Hess) Strouse, of Easton, PA, and the late Elwood "Joe" J. Strouse. Personal: He was employed as a truck driver at the former Mensch Trucking in Pen Argyl, PA, until retiring. He was of the Lutheran faith. Tink was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoy car racing and NASCAR. Memberships: He was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 773 Allentown, PA, the Roseto Rod and Gun Club, Pen Argyl Republican Club, the E.H. Evans American Legion Post 378 in Bangor and the Bangor Jacksonian Club. Survivors: Tink is survived by his spouse Laia A. Manini of Pen Argyl, three daughters, Kristina "Tina" M. Strouse, of Pen Argyl; Donna Strouse, of Drums, PA and Tammy Strouse, of FL; a step daughter, Jamie Labar, of Wind Gap, a step son, Richard "Ricky" Klingle, of Bangor, two sisters, Lynn Martocci, of Bangor, and Cheryl Ninno, of Roseto, 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and his companion of 15 years, Rose Winger, of Bangor. He was preceded in death by a daughter Jamie Strouse, a son Eugene Strouse, Jr., and two brothers Melvin "Farmer" and Willard "Sam" Strouse. Services: Services will be held at the James B. Gaffney Funeral Home, 200 S. Robinson Ave., Pen Argyl, PA, at 11 AM on Thursday, December 26th, with Rev. David Felker officiating. Call Thursday 10 - 11 AM in the funeral home.
