Eula Barnes Obituary
Eula Faye Barnes left this life to be with our Lord Oct. 14, 2010. Born Eula Faye Ellis on June 4, 1936, in Chandler she resided the majority of her life in Tyler. She was a loving daughter, mother, mother-in-law and "Mimi." She was preceded in death by husband, John Barnes; mother, Lois Ellis; and father, Hershel Ellis. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Amy and Todd Barnes; the loves of her life, granddaughter Kinley and grandson Brandon, all of Boerne; many cousins from the Tyler and Phoenix, Ariz., areas; and numerous friends. She graduated from Tyler High School and was self-employed in various businesses in Tyler for most of her career.
Faye enjoyed cooking, traveling with friends, spending time with her grandchildren, the companionship of her Sheltie, "Rocky," and of course, shopping. She was an active member of Rice Road Church of Christ and especially loved her ladies bible class. She was a true and loyal friend and was loved and will be missed by many.
Pallbearers will be Billy Ellis, Don Ellis, Douglas Ellis, Robert Gee, Harley Hooper and Charles Hamilton.
Visitation was held on Saturday, Oct. 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lloyd James Funeral Home in Tyler.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her name to Susan B. Komen For The Cure, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, 75265.

Eula Faye was one of my first cousins. I always admired her and her lifestyle. She was a very beatiful person and I will miss her until we meet again in Heaven.
