Evaniel ""Blackbody"" Corner passed away peacefully after losing his fight with ALS on Friday, October 25, 2019 . His favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 54:17 ""No weapon formed against me shall prosper."" Evaniel received his G.E.D.from Walter L. Cohen Senior High School in May of 2015. He attended Delgado Community College; he received his Electrician Assistant License in 2005 from Trade School. He received his Auto auction License 2015. Beloved son of Sylvia Corner and the late Henry Martin. Loving husband of Dione Corner. Loving father of Dionne and Evanuel Davis, Yvette Stewart, Quavanda Kelley, Evantrell Tennessee and Evandrielle Matthews and the late Demetrius Stewart; Brother of Perry, Jerry, Dasha, Sabrina, Latasha, Charlie, Darhonda and Rhetta; Grandfather of Jada, Jace and Jax'n Copeland, Kaydence Kelley, E'Lani Tennessee, Kaidence and Keith English; Grandson of the late Ora Mae Corner, Anderson Adams; He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Funeral Services for Evaniel will be held on Saturday November 09, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. and viewing will begin at 9 am at Next Generation of Original Morning Star FGBC under the leadership of Pastor Tyrone Smith 3536 Saint Ferdinand Street New Orleans, LA 70126. Repast will follow at Celebration Hall 1701 St. Bernard Street New Orleans, La 70116. Professional services entrusted to Majestic Mortuary 504-523-5872.
